Group/Centre Activities
Engagement in structured group and centre-based activities is significant for boosting confidence, social skill development, and well-being. The ability to access safe and supportive environments that allow participants to interact with others and explore new interests is beneficial to most of the NDIS participants. Group and centre activities are not only fun, but they also encourage independence, learning, and inclusion in the community.
In KIISA Care, we have a varied range of group and centre-based programs that take into account the diverse needs of our participants. It could be a recreational workshop, skill-building or creative workshop, but we ensure that everyone can share in meaningful experiences. We offer flexible and accommodating programs to different abilities, interests, and goals.
They are not simply activities to pass the time, but stepping stones to independence and self-development. Communicating with others in a safe setting helps participants to feel more confident, make friends and gain a strong sense of belonging.
