Development-Life Skills
One of the most essential steps in the path of independence that NDIS participants can take is developing life skills. These are the day-to-day abilities that help participants manage schedules, run a household, socialise effectively, and engage in society. Without these skills, participants may feel discouraged and dependent on others for basic needs.
At KIISA Care, we support participants in developing the skills needed to live more independent lives and have self-confidence. We are also aware that the experiences of all individuals are not the same, and thus we model our programs to fit each individual’s capabilities, learning style, and goals. We provide practical, hands-on support that makes daily life easier.
Through life skills training, participants not only gain independence but also build confidence, strengthen social relationships, and improve overall quality of life. These skills provide a strong foundation for future education, employment, or independent living.
