Community Participation

Community engagement helps NDIS participants feel like valued, contributing members of society. However, some barriers can limit individuals from engaging in meaningful activities, and these include accessibility, lack of confidence or lack of resources. This may make them feel lonely, or they feel their lives lack meaning in the long run.

KIISA Care is committed to helping participants establish their sense of belonging in their community. We provide encouragement, guidance, and practical support to help participants take part in local activities and build relationships. We focus on assisting participants in finding activities that match their interests and bring them joy.

Community participation is not just about attending events but about creating opportunities to attain personal development, social inclusion, and empowerment. Through the appropriate support, the participants can have enriching experiences and better ties to the surrounding world.
